March of Dimes Walkathon
On April 24th at University of North Alabama, the March of Dimes will be sponsoring a walkathon. I will be getting a walking team together in the honor of my preemie grandson "Jayden". He is doing well but only weighed 2lb. 11oz. at birth. He spent the first 43 days in Hospital NICU. He is progressing normally but still small. - We are also in the Shoals. We have what we have dubbed "Fun Friday" and have been trying to have something fun for the kids to do each Friday. We have been to festivals, parks, plays and more this year. Also, a Halloween and Christmas party. This week we are watching the weather and hoping for a park day at Deibert if the weather is good. Upcoming we are working on ice skating and Build a Bear in Hville. Also, bowling, plays and more in Florence. I usually try to have a few events posted in the "Events" area at the top but the holidays threw me off and I am not back in the swing yet. Most of the events have been in the Shoals, though we have been to Decatur a couple of times. Hope to meet your family soon.
